Evan's big boy video

I got a video of Evan this morning waving, making "indian noises" with his mouth, and even standing for a brief second! Oh and showing his vocal side. Its not the best video of his "abilities" but Evan was more interested in the Today Show then me :)

9 months!

Evan is 9 months old and is turning into such a big boy! Our baby days have definitely left us and a rambunctious toddler is right around the corner. The changes that Evan has made over the last 2 months are mind blowing.
Here is an update of Evan's milestones at 9 months.
Evan is waving- he usually just lifts up a hand but some times he wiggles his fingers. But whenever we are out and he sees someone he will raise his arm to wave at them. Its adorable!
He is making "indian noises" with his hand.
He will zerbert his arm or you. He loves to zerbert our legs.
He is holding his own bottle.
He will stand for a few seconds by himself.
Evan can give high fives.
The only word he is still saying is "mama"
He can eat a lot of finger foods by himself. He loves banana's and gets excited when he sees one, he eats carrots, cheerios, banana's, peaches, peas, beans, and avocado by himself.
He is finally putting himself to sleep. We just sooth him for a few seconds and then lay him in his crib with Dougie and a pacifier and he usually out within 5-10minutes.
He is very vocal and if he wants something you have he will just grunt/yell at you.
Evan's hair is getting so long and curly. Its adorable most of the time but he has some bad hair days :(
We are working on some basic sign language ( eat, bottle, more, sleep, drink, all done) but so far he hasn't seemed to catch on. Some times I think he does more when I am feeding him but can't quite tell.
wild and crazy hair
