Evan is now 7 months old and he is getting sooooo big!! He will be crawling any day now, he is up on all fours most of the time rocking back and forth so its just a matter of time. Yesterday for the first time he pushed himself up to a sitting position from laying down on the floor and he did it again this morning. So its time to put the bar up on the crib because we wouldn't want our baby boy to fall out.
Evan has found a new friend, I am watching my friends kids for the summer (Carter and Katie) and Evan just loves Carter! Katie has been gone all week so its just been me and the boys. Carter is sooo good with Evan he loves to play with him and usually sits in the back seat with him just to talk and make faces at him. The other day he asked if he could put him in his carseat, his friend Timmy was with him too ( they are 13) so the boys were trying to figure out how to get all the latches together and it was so cute to watch.
I know Evan is my son and I am slightly bias, but he is the smartest baby in the world! Yesterday we were down at Carters and Evan has his own little room there with his toys. Well we had just got done swimming and Evan was sitting on the floor, he scooted himself over to his basket full of toys and started reaching in and pulling things out I was sooo impressed. I ran and got the camera and got these pictures of him doing it ( see below). When it was all said and done he had pulled out about 6 toys!
Evan is eating really well and loves his big boy food. He east about 4 tablespoon of both fruits and veggies every day. He would probably eat more if I let him but from what I have read he shouldn't be getting too much of his nutritional value from baby food yet but should be getting majority of it still from formula.
Last weekend Ryan and I took Evan to a local park and had a good time walking around, it was miserably hot so we didn't stay to long, but we still had a good time.
